We will be photographing the inside and the outside of your home and all the major rooms. We normally do not photograph the garage unless it has special features. If you have special features of your home that are not obvious, please let us know so they can be included in the shoot.
INTERIORS

Contain pets out of sight and hide pet bowls, toys and litter boxes.

Open all shades/blinds. Clean all windows.

Hide trash cans.
-
Turn on all lights, Replace broken bulbs as necessary.

Turn ceiling fans off.
-
Put away children’s toys out of site.
-
De-clutter all rooms. Remove excess newspapers/magazines.
-
Make all beds and tidy bedrooms. Hang or put away all clothing. (We typically skip shooting standard closets)

Straighten dining room chairs.
-
Conceal all cords. Unplug if needed. (Except lamps)

Remove seasonal/holiday lights and decorations.
KITCHEN
-
Remove photos, notes and magnets from refrigerator.

De-clutter countertops and remove day-to-day utensils and small appliances.

Remove items from sink.
-
Straighten stools and chairs.
-
Put away high chairs, booster seats, etc.
-
Remove trash bin.
EXTERIORS
-
Remove vehicles from driveways.
-
Do not park directly in front of the house.
-
If possible, clean outdoor windows.
-
Remove or hide all garden tools including hoses and sprinklers.

Mow and rake yard.
-
Sweep/Blow driveways, porch and sidewalks. (Avoid watering concrete right before the shoot)

Move garbage cans out of sight.

Trim trees if they cover a large portion of the front elevation.

Clean pool and remove pool equipment.
-
Remove seasonal/holiday lights and decorations.
BATHROOMS
-
De-Clutter countertops.

Clean mirrors and bathroom fixtures.

Close all toilet lids.
-
Remove rugs.
-
Put away toiletries, towels, shampoo, and soap.

Remove toilet paper or replace with full roll.
TWILIGHT EXTERIORS
-
Turn on all Interior and Exterior lights. Replace broken bulbs as necessary.

Disable all scheduled or motion controlled lights.
-
Open all shades/blinds.
-
Turn on all pool lights and features such as waterfall and or fire pits.
